Firewater has been around for a while but on my most trip back to the town I was raised was when I actually came here for the first time. And in the end I came here twice before the trip concluded.
My first time here I got the Breakfast Tacos of the brunch menu and they proved to be very good.
But it wouldn't have been a complete experience if I didn't try one of their mixed drinks since Firewater specializes in mixed drinks so I got one of their mojitos which proved to be excellent!
I noticed they had local(local being relative since Wyoming towns are so far spread apart) beers on tap from breweries I hadn't tried so that was what my second trip was comprised of when I came back, trying a few beers on tap. The breweries were out of Cheyenne and Laramie and will get their own reviews later on since I made specific stops to those as well.

      Enjoyed my mojito at Firewater!

Delicious and inventive comfort food, served in a cool historic building, alongside outstanding cocktails made with Wyoming ingredients. And a great shaded outdoor space that even had live music while we were there. All at a good price.

We had a cheesesteak and Devil on Horseback burger, both of which were tasty and filling without being ridiculous. The cocktails were expertly made with quality stuff.

I'd love to give it 5 stars, but I can't quite, because the service seemed well meaning & friendly but maybe overwhelmed. I would have ordered a second drink, but that seemed awkward when the only opportunity was also the would-you-like-dessert-or-the-check ultimatum, which came surprisingly when we were less than halfway done with our entrees. The water refill promised when ordering food arrived after paying the bill.

Fun eclectic place! A mix of furniture, table and bar. Fun drinks and appetizers, music on the weekends, a bright spot in a small town. We had drinks and homemade chips. Planned to make it back for dinner but day drinking got us. ‍we'll be back!

I think maybe I just hit them on a bad night. Though there was virtually nobody here at 4:30 in the afternoon and they had plenty of servers, the service was crazy slow. I had some fried artichoke hearts which were delicious. Followed up with bacon mac and cheese. I would say they were maybe four or five tiny pieces of bacon. Not sure if they were out of bacon or somebody was feeling very stingy. The taste of the mac and cheese was very good though. Hopefully you have a little bit better experience than I did. Don't rule this place out I'm sure they have better
      Nights.

For a small town, Saratoga has some great restaurants. This is most certainly one of them. Most if not everything is made from scratch, even the kids meals. One thing that I cannot abide is when the kids menu is an after thought and uses store bought items like mac and cheese - at Firewater, it's freshly prepared! They use high quality and diverse ingredients.

Oh yeah, they also have one of the best whiskey bars I've seen in the state. Whether you're after bourbon, scotch, Irish whiskey, or other world whiskeys they've got you covered. They even serve their drams in glencairn glasses! I got a scotch flight with Glenmorangie 18, Macallan Rare Cask, and Bruichladdich Dark Arts! You can go to Firewater for great food, drinks, or both!

Amazing! This place is amazing, great food cooked to perfection and any Bourbon you could ask for. This is one of those gems where you say wow, this does not happen everyday. On a weekend drive from Denver and what a treat to find. If you are in town this is the place to go to. Enjoy!!

We're moving to the Saratoga area, have bought land there and love the town and it's businesses. We visited Firewater the first time on Labor Day weekend and absolutely loved the decor, the bar and liquor selections, and food is top notch. We look forward to many happy return visits.

The place was outstanding. A huge whiskey selection. The food was terrific and service was top notch. We were there on a night when they had a guitar club playing. We had a party of eight and everyone thought firewater knocked it out of the park.

What a great find in the little town of Saratoga. Everything was delicious - portobello mushroom sandwich, truffle fries, elote, and cocktails! Really enjoyed our time on the patio with our doggo.
